    I have, I use a Collins eyepiece ( for some
    observing, and it dramatically increases the number of sats seen.  But it is
    grainy, so it has limited uses.

    Has anybody had the opportunity to try out night vision goggles for
    satellite observing?
    I was watching a program on TV the other day, they had some shots looking
    through some NV goggles (trying not to type googles).   I recognized a very
    bright Pleiades system and realized the goggles might help out seeing faint
    objects.   I've never looked through a pair, but the view could be grainy
    (not sure if the grainyness is a video recorder byproduct or the goggle
