Report time 11:30 UTC 2001-041B (#26909) Progress/Pirs RB SPACECOM'S FINAL REPORT - prepared Sept 16,03:45 UTC- shows the decay on 16 Sept, 03:27 UTC +/- 07 minutes (41.4°N,351.0°E) on a northbound pass over the Atlantic very near the coast of Portugal. MPM+REENTRY delivers with the ELSETs 01258.648... - 01258.952... the decay on 16 Sept, 03:31 UTC +/-11 minutes(49.30°N,09.43°E) on the same ascending pass over SW Germany. At this time we have no observation reports from Europe. I believe the decay was a few minutes earlier as SPACECOM and I have calculated possibly over the Atlantic. BTW: The decay today was a little surprise for me. Yesterday morning (UTC)I was locking for the first TIP message and saw SPACECOM'S prediction for a reentry on Sept 18 (!) and in consequence for the rest of the day I didn't follow the further development. So I can deliver only a "post mortem" message....
