I was lucky to see Gorizont 13 (86-090A, 17083) last night. For the next several nights the Moon will be a big problem for one this faint. (They weren't all as bright as +6.5.) 86- 90 A 01-10-26 04:00:39 EC 1755.6 0.5 21 83.60 +6.5->inv Gorizont 23 (91-046A, 21533) is quite a bit brighter, and with its shorter flash period as well is more fun. Again last night I saw without magnification some Superbird A (89-041A, 20040) flashes. Since its flashes are so bright, I was wondering if it might be possible for a photographer to get an interesting photo of Superbird A flashes near the Moon one of these nights. Obs site: E. Ney Musuem grounds -- 30.307N, 97.727N, 150m. Part of my binoculars strap broke last night, and I learned how conveniently useful that strap is!
