Watching a high western pass of Iridium 24 I saw several flashes of mag +0
or better. The brightest ones were the first, and the last two:

UTC 01-10-19 RA Dec Site #5919
    17:15:38.25 19:42.5 -23 Sharp flash Ir 24
    17:15:28.95 19:42 -22 Sharp flash Ir 24
    17:15:19.96 19:41 -21 Flash Ir 24
    17:12:32.45 19:15 -00 Flash Ir 24
    17:11:56.06 19:03 +08 Flash Ir 24
    17:10:09.59 17:40 +45.5 Flash Ir 24
    17:08:22.20 12:08 +66 Flash Ir 24
    17:08:10.93 11:38 +64.5 Sharp flash Ir 24

The last flash was only 7.5 degrees above horizon.

During this pass, and others I watched, I found and identified bright UARS,
and faint Cosmos 1771 and GEOS-3.
