    I would guess this depends to a great deal on the exact type of styrofoam.
    There are lots of different flavors ranging from extra fluffy to brick
    solid.
    
    I had a closer look (again... <sigh>) at the E-208 footage regarding speed
    of the piece of debris, and my take at this is that it takes the piece
    approximately(!) 0.12-0.14 seconds from first appearing near the bipod area
    to impacting the wing. Bearing in mind that I might have overlooked
    something significant that would render this figure completely wrong.
