The unusual RCS activity, that is, the FCS trying to cope with the drag on the left side, has been reported to be two of four right-hand side yaw thruster firing for 1.5 seconds to assist the aerosurfaces in that respect. All of this occured no earlier than one or at best two minutes before final LOS, basically over West and North-Central Texas. This is reportedly not an event associated with reentry trajectory further west, there don't seem to have been excessive thruster firings over California. CU!
