I have not yet been able to get Rick Baldridge's photos in spite of trying a lot beginning yesterday. I would like to see even one of them! What's the possibility of a second venue? I believe the answer is yes, but are Rick's the same or different from the ones reported -- but not shown yet to my knowledge -- in the San Francisco Chronicle? http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2003/02/02/MN221641.DTL Thank you very much to Tim for the report from the north edge of the debris field. I still tend to think there may be at least a little bit of small debris farther west -- but there is a lot of desolate country in that direction. FWIW, here's the alleged photo (mentioned on DSat) of a crack in the Shuttle's wing. The Italian caption is "Il giornale israeliano Maariv pubblica un'immagine presa dalla telecamera di bordo durante la telefonata tra Sharon e Ramon": http://www.corriere.it/Primo_Piano/Cronache/2003/02_Febbraio/03/crepe.shtml Note that the Earth appears to be much too far, it seems to me, behind the "Shuttle wing". That newspaper may be a tabloid. Thanks to the Drudge Report site for the two links above.
