Choice of reporting format

Since I started reporting satobs to this list I have been using the IOD
format, even though most of the other UK-based observers report in the UK
format and Russell reports in his own.

I was wondering if I should continue using this format, or whether it would
be more convenient for analysts for me to switch to UK format?
