    The frequencies for the time signals are 4996, 9996 and 14996 kHz. There 
    are three frequencies because the signal strength changes over the day 
    because of ionospheric effects. The less strong signal most likely is 
    caused by lower sun activity in the last years, causing lesser signal 
    reflection in the higher atmosphere.
