    Thank you Björn and Leo for your replies about its flash period
    being 22+ seconds.  Of course one problem with that in the past
    is that around the phase shift there was always an odd number 
    of 11-second spans, so using 22 seconds, I could not count all 
    of the flashes for a PPAS report.
    I wonder if I gave up too soon, if it flashed brighter again a
    minute or two later after I quit looking.  But that was a pretty
    long series of 11-second time spans. 
    Tonight has been cloudy.  Lots of clouds are forecast for the
    next several days, but there may be a couple of clear evenings.
