Hi all, > Saw -5m Iridium 18 flare today in excellent agreement with Iridflar at > 00:02 MST (20:02 UT). This is already the second time I see the bright > flare from it ( picture of Apr. 3 flare is available at > http://hea.iki.rssi.ru/~denis/iridmsk.html ) but Heavens Above doesn't > give flare predictions for it. I wonder why, and if anybody from GSOC > is listening - is it possible to fix it? I checked our database, and it seems I had incorrectly flagged Ir 18 as an unreliable flarer (non-operational). I have now checked the status of the the Iridium satellites against the list on the VSOHP, and also checked the mean motions which is always 14.342... for operational satellites. Iridium 18 should now start appearing in the Heavens-Above predictions.
